Is it okay to fight outside of the Do Jang?

What is Taekwon Do?

Taekwon Do is a version of unarmed combat designed for the purpose of self-defense. The body gains ultimate use of its facilities through intensive physical  and mental training.

Taekwon Do when used for the wrong purpose can be a lethal weapon. That is why mental training must be taught to prevent the student from misusing it. Taekwon Do is sometimes practiced for exercise alone by the young and old. This results in time well spent!

What does Taekwon Do mean?

"Tae" means to jump, fly, or kick with the foot. "Kwon" means to punch or strike with the hand or fist. "Do" means the art or the way that was built from the past.

Generation of Power...what is it?

Sine Wave is a term used to transfer energy from one's body mass to the body's extremities; namely the arms and legs. This is accomplished with up and down movements of body mass and hip movements, which generates and increase of speed and power for kicks, punches, and blocks.
